In addition to causing structural damage to homes, water leaks – even small leaks – also attract termites, carpenter ants, powder post beetles and other wood destroying insects. Be sure to repair leaks as soon as possible and if there are signs of pests, call an exterminator for treatment as soon as possible to minimize damage.
